I made interesting evolutions after my room experiments with Dynamo.
If I insert a column or an other closed room inside my original room, is possible to extrude the 2 boundaries lines and make a solid difference.

[...] Vi è però un aspetto espressivo che riassume con una latitudine così notevole il fatto architettonico che sembra potersi assumere, anche isolatamente, con maggior tranquillità degli altri: intendo accennare allo spazio interno e vuoto di una architettura. Infatti basti osservare che alcuni termini espressivi - chiaroscuro, plasticità, densità di materia, costruzione - si palesano quali aspetti, formali o intellettivi, della <<materia>>, nella sua fisica concretezza messa in gioco nell'architettura e formano perciò un gruppo di una certa omogeneità e nel suo complesso fortemente rappresentativo. Ora si noti che lo spazio vuoto degli interni di una architettura si contrappone esattamente a questo gruppo come valore speculare, simmetrico e negativo, come una vera matrice negativa, e in quanto tale capace di riassumere insieme sè stesso e i termini suoi opposti. Specialmente ove lo spazio interno è la ragione principale, o addirittura ragione di nascimento della fabbrica, come è per lo più, esso si palesa come il seme, lo specchio, il simbolo più ricco dell'intera realtà architettonica. Internal voids model of St. Peter's Basilica

I'm fascinated by Moretti's works, I studied a lot his projects at university.
After my last post I continued to work on Revit rooms and to make some experiments. I'm an architect and for me are really important the voids inside an architecture. I'm studying how transform rooms in solid forms using Dynamo. I'm in a beginning phase with simple rooms in the same level, and for now I simply extruded the boundaries of rooms with a specific elevation. 

Auto naming Rooms with Dynamo

In this short post I show you how is possible use Dynamo for auto naming rooms in Revit.

I made a little example with rooms with default names. As you can see, if I add a color scheme by name all rooms have the same color.

Using Dynamo with simple steps, after the run I will have Rooms with unique names and numbers.
